As a photographer, Hara Allison has embarked on a decades-long journey driven by a deep passion for capturing the essence of her subjects. Hara was drawn to photography from a young age, frequently carrying a camera during her travels. During high school she set up a darkroom in her bedroom and saved every penny to invest in film and supplies. 

After high school, Hara worked at a photography studio in Miami but, after a short period, decided to put her dream of being a professional photographer on hold. Instead she earned a BS in Communications and began a lifelong career in graphic design.

However, a pivotal moment occurred in 2019, at the age of 51, when Hara attended a motivational conference that rekindled her passion for photography. Soon after, she launched Hara Allison Photography and began a new journey. 

In 2025, Hara and her husband, Phillip, started Dream Studio, hoping to empower other photographers, artists, and creatives to embrace their true potential.
